Frozen Latin Deli Cassava Tostones

Tostones with shredded meat topping

  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 4 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 cup mustard oil
  • 500 grs of brown onion
  • 500 grs of tomato
  • 4 sprigs of thyme
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 6 units of quail egg
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano
  • 1 Kg of picaña beef
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 Kg Cassava Tostones


  • Cook the meat in plenty of water with salt, garlic, oregano, bay leaf and thyme.
  • Remove and shred with fingers. Reserve the broth.
  • Fry the Latin Deli Cassava Tostones in enough hot oil without letting them brown too much.
  • Add garlic salt after fry them.
  • In a large frying pan, fry the onion cut into julienne strips, finely chopped crushed garlic and the shredded meat.
  • Apart, blend the tomatoes in a little of the reserved broth and add to the pan.
  • Add black sauce or soy sauce, optional a teaspoon of mustard, cover and let the tomato emulsify, stirring constantly.
  • Serve the mix of the shred meat on top of the fry Latin Deli Cassava Tostones and enjoy!!!
