Corn meal's polvorones

Ingredients

 

  •  600 gm of P.A.N. White
  • Corn Meal (4 cups)
  •  250 gm of lard
  •  30 gm of butter
  •  2 egg yolks
  •  1 egg white
  •  Sugar
  •  Icing sugar
  •  

    Preparation

    • Mix the P.A.N. White Corn Meal with
    • the lard and butter and add the
    • sugar, egg yolks and egg white.
    • Form a ball on a floured table,
    • leaving it 1 cm thick.
    • Cut out the polvorones with
    • a small round cutter.
    • Place on baking sheets and
    • bake in a preheated oven at
    • 200°C for about 30 minutes
    • or until cooked.
